Borys Buzkij
Educated in Cleveland, Ohio. Borys received his art training at the Cleveland Institute of Art and Cooper School of Art. After graduation he worked for the American Greetings Corp. in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1972 he decided to go on his own. He wanted to do "Art" at his own pace, and on his own time. The last 43 years gave him a chance to exhibit nationally as well as in many regional art shows. Borys received awards from such national organizations as the American Watercolor Society, New York Watercolor U.S.A. in Springfield, Missouri. Butler Art Museum, in Youngstown, Ohio. Mr. Buzkij is a member of the American Watercolor Society and also charter member of the Ohio Watercolor Society.
His work has been a gallery fixture in Ohio for many years and is also featured in galleries from Texas to South Carolina.
